Even if nobody else cares, Care Bears do... bears that stand for good feelings for people all over the world, of every age, sharing happiness without limits

Care Bears are an American collection of plush bears that first appeared on American Greetings greeting cards in 1981. They were drawn by Elena Kucharik and became a huge hit with kids and adults alike.

Before the smartphone era, Americans loved sending greeting cards to each other for all kinds of occasions. These adorable little bears came to represent caring on many different cards, and they were later developed into animations and all kinds of merchandise that fans still collect today.

Care Bears have many characters, shown by the symbols on their round tummies, just like how diverse people are

In 1983, Care Bears were first made into soft, huggable plush bears, with lots of characters to choose from. Each Care Bear has its own signature color reflecting a different identity, personality and character, and each one carries a hidden meaning in its tummy symbol, like a message expressing a different kind of care.

The symbols on the bears' tummies express all kinds of feelings. Out of all the Care Bears characters, AppleSheep would like to introduce you to 6 of the most popular:

• Pink: Cheer Bear

Care Bears

Fans of the fluffy bears from Care-a-Lot, check this out ASAP! This crew brings handfuls of cuteness and brightness. SHEEP x Care Bears: the story of these bears began in 1981 in the USA. The Care Bears' original job was to carry greetings on American Greetings postcards, sending all kinds of good wishes to customers. Thanks to a great response, the Care Bears were turned into products and media, and they've been a hit everywhere ever since. Today, AppleSheep keeps the original Care Bears concept, but swaps postcards for AppleSheep's most popular iPad cases and iPhone cases. We hope Care Bears will be like a blessing that brings good things to you, and a style that truly shows who you are.
