Care Bears care for everyone… The bears that share good feelings with people all over the world, of every age – because there are no limits to sharing happiness.

Care Bears is a collection of plush bears from the United States. They first appeared on American Greetings greeting cards in 1981, drawn by Elena Kucharik, and became a hit with kids and adults alike.

Before smartphones, Americans loved sending each other greeting cards for all kinds of occasions. These adorable little bears came to represent caring feelings on many different cards, and eventually grew into animations and all sorts of products that fans still love today.

Care Bears come in many characters, each shown by the symbol on their round tummy – just like people, who are wonderfully diverse

In 1983, Care Bears were made into soft, huggable plush bears for the first time, with lots of characters to choose from. Each bear has its own signature color that reflects a different identity, personality and character, and the symbol on each tummy hides a special meaning – like a message expressing a different kind of care.

The tummy symbols express different feelings. Out of all the Care Bears characters, AppleSheep would love to introduce you to 6 fan-favorite colors:

• Pink: Cheer Bear

Symbol: Rainbow

Personality: Always ready to cheer everyone on and make everyone happy

• Green: Good Luck Bear

• Yellow: Funshine Bear

• Blue: Grumpy Bear

• Light purple: Sweet Dreams Bear
