• Personality Mischievous and tomboyish with a ‘punk spirit,’ always ready for a fight, and she always sees My Melody as her rival. In her free time, she loves horoscopes and writing in her diary. She’s hooked on romance novels, loves reading horoscope magazines and has a thing for handsome guys. She’s passionate about cooking, her favorite colors are black and pink, and her favorite food is shallots, or fried green onions.

• Key items The Melody Key, the key to the door of dreams, and a violet violin bow. Every time music is played, it powers up the Melody Key.

• Goal Revenge on My Melody, and finding people with dreams to destroy them by turning those people into evil monsters. Once she collects all 100 black notes, a scary song will be complete and Kuromi will gain dark powers that turn everyone’s dreams into nightmares, so people will never have beautiful dreams again.
