Care Bears are here to care… bears that stand for good feelings for people of every age, all around the world. There are no limits when it comes to sharing happiness!

Care Bears are a collection of plush bears from the United States. They first appeared on greeting cards by American Greetings in 1981, drawn by artist Elena Kucharik, and they became a hit with kids and grown-ups alike.

Before the smartphone era, Americans loved sending each other greeting cards for all kinds of occasions. These adorable little bears became a symbol of caring and appeared on many card designs, until they grew into animated shows and all sorts of products that fans still collect today.

Each Care Bear has its own personality, shown by the symbol on its round tummy, just like how people are wonderfully diverse

In 1983, Care Bears were made into soft, huggable plush bears for the first time, with lots of characters to choose from. Each bear has its own signature color that reflects a different identity, personality and character, and the symbol on each tummy carries a hidden meaning, like a little message of care in its own special way.

The symbols on their tummies express different feelings. From the whole Care Bears family, AppleSheep would love to introduce you to 6 fan-favorite bears:

• Pink: Cheer Bear

Symbol: Rainbow

Personality: Always ready to cheer everyone on and make everyone happy

• Green: Good Luck Bear

Symbol: Green four-leaf clover

Personality: Generous and always brings good things to friends

• Yellow: Funshine Bear

Symbol: Shining sun

Personality: Bright, cheerful and full of energy

• Blue: Grumpy Bear

Symbol: Rain cloud with hearts

Personality: Secretly loves helping friends; rarely smiles but has a very kind heart

• Light purple: Sweet Dreams Bear

Symbol: Pink moon on a cloud with a heart

Personality: Sleeps soundly with sweet dreams and helps friends sleep well, too

• Dark purple: Share Bear

Symbol: Two crossed heart lollipops
Personality: Loves sharing, selfless, always puts the happiness of others first

Care Bears

Get to know Care Bears better

Fans of the fluffy little bears from Care-a-Lot, check this out! This team brings handfuls of cuteness and brightness. SHEEP x Care Bears: the story of these little bears began in 1981 in the United States. The Care Bears' original job was to carry greetings on American Greetings cards, sending all kinds of good wishes to customers. They were so well received that Care Bears were turned into products and media and became hugely popular, still loved everywhere today. AppleSheep keeps the original Care Bears concept, but swaps the greeting card for AppleSheep's most popular iPad and iPhone cases. We want Care Bears to be like a good wish for every user, bringing only good things your way, and a style that truly shows who you are.

Which iPad case is right for you?

All the perks of every Care Bears iPad case style!

"Which iPad case should I get?" is one of the most asked questions at AppleSheep. Here's our answer: most iPad cases on the market have just 1–2 strengths each, so when choosing the right iPad case for you, it's worth considering what you like and don't like. That way you'll understand the case and won't be disappointed with your order.

To sum it up, SHEEP has 4 iPad case styles, all fan favorites, so you can pick the one that suits you and how you use it: Origami, AppleSheep's legendary model; Trifold, for watching movies and lounging; People, the iPad case with a pencil holder; and Reload, our ultra-protective iPad mini case.
